Work environment in Switzerland

To all people who travelled and worked in other countries....
What do you think about Switzerland ? Can you find the slightest common thing with some other "normal" work environments around the word ?

Thanks

Re: Work environment in Switzerland

I imagine it depends very heavily on where you're from and where you've worked. I spent about a decade working in my field, half the time here and half in the US. I'm still amazed at how good my working conditions are here compared to the U.S. (amount of vacation, salary, sick days, unpaid vacation possibilites, flexibility, and quite a few other small goodies that I'm grateful to have).

Re: Work environment in Switzerland

I can fully agree with you. Especially compared to US. My question was more about how you get along with your collegues, the work environment. Are they friendly, can you trust them , do you do things outside work with them ...

I worked all over Europe, and also US, and this seems to be the place where there is the most lack of communication among people.

From this point of viey, France was the best ...
