Hi, has anybody travelled via Zurich airport very early. Looking for a cheap/reasonable hotel or B&B that offers free shuttle to airport and parking during the holiday. Thanks.

Does it have to be near Zürich Airport ? The airport is well served by rail, bus and tram services from Zürich city.

Flight is very early- and we are a long way away.

There is one at the Glattbrugg Station /2KM away from the airport, but it has only 2 Stars, so don't expect too much :
Bahnhof Glattbrugg Hotel-Restaurant, Rooms start at 120 sfr (for a couple), tram
needs 6 mins to the Airport.
I would pay a bit more(the first s bahn from Zurich HB to the Airport runs at 05.04, so you are at the airport by 05.15)
I would recommend the Ibis Oerlikon , rooms start at 140 sfr (for a couple), take a taxi to the Oerlikon station (takes only a few minutes), catch the s bahn
at 5.10 and arrive at the airport 05.15.

I leave the car in the parking (P5) the night before. Check in and then take the shuttle bus to the Ebis Hotel.
Why do I leave the car at the airport? Our return flight arrives around 11-00PM and at that time of night I just want to get home, as quickly as posible.

We once used the park inn in rumlang. They had very inexpensive parking - better than the airport, I thought, and you could leave your car there for the duration of your holiday - if you stayed in the hotel at least one night. And they had a free shuttle. This was great for us when we were living in Bern. I don't know what their prices are now, however.

There was also a hotel Allegra that my husband used.

We never found a place with free parking.

we stayed once at the IBIS, it is very generic but cheap comfortable and they have a shuttle service for free
