La Redoute.ch is also good. The site is in German but i managed to figure it out and order from it. Prices are pretty reasonable and you can return things via Kiosk which is cheaper than using the post office.
I think it is a French site but they have a UK version. open 2 browsers. http://www.laredoute.co.uk/

Re: Online shopping sites for clothes (in English)

I highly recommend Shopbop.com for women's clothing, shoes, bags and accessories. They offer free world wide express shipping and easy returns. Also, at checkout the import tax is calculated for CH so you don't have any surprises once your package arrives. Shopbop.com has a site for men as well called Eastdane.com.

Another site that I frequently shop from is net-a-porter.com...delivery is free and express and they have beautiful things for women...returns are a breeze as well and free.

Re: Online shopping sites for clothes (in English)

Be careful if you return things to sites outside Switzerland - I bought some things from the UK that were delivered by DHL and I returned them but DHL still billed me for the VAT (90 chf) and say I still have to pay it even though they accepted my proof of return. After a few emails they then relented and said I could pay about 44 chf but then got a bill for the full 90 chf yesterday.

Same here, in fact the only one I ever used for clothes online shopping...a pleasant experience overall.

Would advise to be careful using M&S to ship to CH as they don't use CN22 forms when posting to CH. About 2 years ago, I ordered goods from M&S worth ~20GBP, they did not use a CN22 form and I got slapped with a Swiss post admin fee of ~35 CHF after they opened and inspected the goods. About 2 weeks ago I contacted M&S customer services to ask if they now use CN22 forms like other major retailers (Debenhams, Amazon, Next etc), they were clueless about this, so beware!

I can however recommend Next who shipped my last 2 orders to CH for free and all was received within 3 working days.

I never get taxed by Swiss posts if my uk orders below are below ~70 CHF. There are other threads with exact facts/figures about tax charges.
This has all changed. I have just received a pair of large men's shoes, size 14 or Euro 49 from Marks and Spencer, cost 25 postage 7.50. The total was SFr 47.80 and so there was nothing extra to pay.

The form CN22 described the contents were shoes, the customs tariff number, the weight & the price.

The parcel took 11 days, and was not obviously opened by anybody.

Marks and Spencer delivers to Switzerland and their shipping charges are not too painful.

Just make sure you keep the cost of the ordered goods down or you get whacked for tax and spurious "administration costs"
I have been informed by my hen group who order much from outside Switzerland that as long as it does not go over CHF 63 then no tax is levied
