Coupons

I really want to collect coupons to save money, but don't know where to get the coupons from, can anyone help me with coupons for the Vaud area?

Re: Coupons

What kind of coupons? Any coupons! If you drive a car, here you can save 5 cents a liter for a starter:

Coop Pronto - Gas/Petrol CHF 0.05 coupon

Re: Coupons

Sign up for a store loyalty card with both Migros and Coop.

Migros send out money off vouchers for points accumulated and Coop give you the opportunity to 'spend' points on selected products.

In addition, both send out a weekly newspaper-type publication to card holders, that can contain cut-out money off coupons. I think the Migros one is also available at the back end of the checkout.

More paper to dispose of at the recycling depot, but if you find some coupons, it might make it worth it.

I assume your not in Zambia any more, as your profile suggests.

Re: Coupons

Subscribe to the Coop newspaper. They have a variety of coupons for products and multiplying your points. Valid only at Coop stores but hey, it's a start.

I have found coupons are much less common here than they are in the U.S. It doesn't make a lot of sense to me. I am much more likely to try a product if I have a coupon for it.

They have them in the UK and I used to inwardly scream when I got behind someone who suddenly produced a confetti effect of dozens of coupons which then had to be inspected and scanned by the check-out chick, instantly grinding the queue down to a halt. Happy they just do the quick Superpunkt or Cumulus card thing here. Better for my blood pressure...

Re: Coupons

Most of the major tourist attractions in the Vaud/Valais/Jura area offer coupon booklets for other attractions.

Jura Parc, Gruyeres cheese and chocolate factories, Vallorbe grottes are just a few off the top of my head (but there are loads and loads of them!)

Just visit one of them and, after paying the entry fee, they will you give you one booklet per person (though I'm sure if you ask for more, they'll hand some over).

Forget the coupons, check out this website http://www.aktionis.ch/. It gives you a heads up on items coming up with discounts in all the supermarkets (Migros, Coop, Denner, Spar, etc.).

My son is long out of nappies but I can, hand on heart, say we never once paid full price for a pack of nappies. They have discounts on them so often that you can restock easily.

Next time, it would help everyone and waste less of our time if you were more specific from the beginning.
