Re: Andy Murray

I think Andy Murray has improved so much since Ivan Lendl became his
coach.That was a great move!!!

Even better, we won't have to look at Roger Federer's smug face.

Re: Andy Murray

I met my parents this morning having gone out of the house in a hurry...

When my mum told me the good news my knees went weak and I had to sit down!

Hurray for Andy!

I wonder how Tim Henman feels now.
Just as pleased for him as the rest of us, I imagine.

fixed that one for you. Minor change but I guess I am a stickler for these things.

Glad that he won! I thought he already won at Wimbledon this year but then that all got confused because of the Olympics and all. I do hope he can go on to win there, as that would be grand...

I wasnt sure the bloody Scot was going to do it at end of the fourth set.

But I am pleased the Brit pulled it out the bag at the end

I hope Wimbledon doesn't elude him whilst he's still in his prime.

Well done Andy!
After the disappointment of Wimbledon, it's great to see him win a Grand Slam!
(He did beat Roger at the Olympics though.)

Delighted that people can stop talking about him being an abject failure who bottled every big occasion and talk about someone else 'British'.

Really thrilled for Andy and hope this carries over into future Slams. It is nice to see another name break in among the Nadal-Federer-Djokovic club!

Fantastic win. Should have recorded it rather than watch it though, as today I am shattered!

Yes, born and bread in Bethnal Green, London, you'll never meet a more proud Cockney.

Re: Andy Murray

that's how he won, Djokovic teased Murray calling him English...
not only he's a scott but he feels the same usual love towards the English as his countrymen:
