Presumably you're looking for both linseed oil and turps, or were you thinking that they were the same? Linseed oil is something I put on my cricket bat, whereas turpentine has now normally been replaced by less unpleasant substances for use as a paint thinner (for household needs) although the real thing is still available in good bricolage shops in France, so may well be in CH too - try the usual DIY shops - search here for lists of them as they've been asked for often enough. Co-op B&H, Migro-do-it, OBI, Jumbo, Hornbach, etc.

I looked for this too for my canvas. Any Sun-Store/ pharma has it. That's where I found it.
