Hair dye: At-home or hairdresser recs to go from black to brown

After years of using black hair dye on my dark brown hair, I want to go back to my natural color. The problem is that I can't simply dye over it with brown. I assume some level of "bleaching" is needed. Anyone used a brand available here in Switzerland that worked well for this purpose?

Alternately, can anyone recommend a hairdresser who's good with this sort of thing? I'm very nervous to come out with overly lightened hair that's super damaged, especially as I have very long hair.

That's a tricky one. Nothing get on too of black and if you get them bleach, it will damage your hair pretty badly...

Is there a big difference between your black and your brown? Can you just wait and let it grow? If the new hair is very different from the black, maybe you could use the darkest brown before the black?

There is some sort of Hair Dye remover.. helps strip the colour already in your hair.

I dyed a friend's hair a couple of times. She was happy with the result. She also did mine, cause I haven't learned yet how to do it alone... properly.

Yes, it's about covering gray stubborn hair too. So I'm looking for someone who does not work in the hairdo field but can dye someone's hair thoroughly (mine reaches just the shoulder) and is looking for the same at-home free service (I don't mind if you have longer hair) with the same level of experience. (You do mine, I do yours)

I need to have mine done every 3 months, but it doesn't have to be the same person every time.

In my area, no professional is willing to do it at my home.
Please let me know if you are interested.
