Wine Tasting Course in Basel

Hi, does anyone know of a good wine tasting course in Basel or the surrounding area? Ideally in English.

Really depends what you all mean by "surrounding areas" but the Wolfberger visitor centre at Colmar has a classroom where they run tasting events. Not sure on what basis, and probably only in French.

I'd definitely recommend it to anyone. You're welcome to taste anything you like with no expectation of a purchase. Helpful and knowledgeable staff too.

Re: Wine Tasting Course in Basel

Paul Ullrich (Gundeli location) hosts a few themed wine-tasting evenings per year in English (organized by Centrepoint). I'd also be interested in something a little more in-depth so if you find anything, please keep us posted. Thanks!

Re: Wine Tasting Course in Basel

160 CHF for a 2 hour wine tasting course is pretty expensive.

You're Right Adrian, but next wine tasting courses in Basel will be 3hrs (mixed with the art/music concept) for 119CHF and not CHF160.
Moreover each person you invite grants you -20% on your entrance, therefore 5 people = A free ticket for yourself.

That is one of the best quality-ratio price we have heard in Switzerland with graduate wine experts.
But the spirit is also to provide a second step experience by granting people one or two free month of wine subscriptions to keep on learning on a lazy way with wiine.me

What do you think ?
I'd be very interested in a wine tasting course, especially if it can be held on a w/e day.
