Getting Documents Certified in Switzerland

Hi All.

I have to send some certified documents to New Zealand (i.e evidence of my permanent residency and address to prove I have been living here for the past year).
Does anyone know where I can go to get these documents certified? (Proven that they are legitimate).

Thanks!

Easiest, visit the Gemeinde/city hall/place where you registered into the community. They will either do it themselves or direct you to the authorized person within the office.

It depends if these are required by the NZ govmint. They might have a list of person eligible under their laws.

In the event it is destined to a company, you could always pop down to your Gemeinde and ask for a CTC ( Certified True Copy ), mine charges about CHF1 a piece. These were acceptable to authorities in Europe ( eg. Studera.NU ), Asia as well as Oceania.

Re: Getting Documents Certified in Switzerland

If those are official documents you need to have them "apostilled" to be recognised internationally, e.g. in canton Lucerne that would be

take a look at that webpage for more info.
