Opticians for kids near Zurich
 

Hello,

This is my first posting so apologies if I don't follow convention or am slow to respond - still figuring out how to work the website. My 8 year old has just been prescribed glasses for long-sightedness by an optician in Wadenswil (Zurichsee). Very efficient, but unfriendly, doctor who doesn't speak English well enough to answer any of my questions. My concern is that the glasses are SO strong, my son is having problems adjusting to them and I would really like a second opinion just to check that they are the correct strength...but have no idea where to go. Can anyone recommend an optician/opthamologist who specialises in children's eyes in the Zurich area?

My son goes to a really fantastic eye Dr in Zug who speaks English but that is not so convienient for you but just in case you don't get any other replies his details are:

Hi all,

can anyone recommend a good Optician where to buy glasses for Kids in Zurich?
Possibly near Affoltern District (8046, not Affoltern am Albis).
We have already been to a proper Ophthalmologist, we just need the glasses and a professional Optician expert with kids (yes it takes some extra care and a LOT of patience :p ).
