Does anyone know how I can get some trees taken away - we have had some conifers cut down but have been told these are too big for the green bin recycling collection and now would like to get rid of them preferably cheaply...

Shouldn't the people who cut them down dispose of them. If you had a new kitchen fitted would you have to get rid of the cabinets?

Well please do check first that you actually can cut down the trees,that they are not a protected species or stand under any other regulation.

Then you should get a landscape gardener to do the job,cutting down a tree may look very simple, but in fact it's a very dangerous job, so I for one, would not shy away from the expense and have it done properly,then I know all health and safety regulations are considered plus the surrounding ground won't alike after a stampede ...........

Why not starting to ask for estimates at various landscape gardeners ( landschaftgärtner/gartenbau)
