Shop that sells old but functional electronic items

Hi All,

I have an old Powermac that needs a replacement DVD drive. I think that now a days all stores only sell SATA drives and the mac actually needs an EIDE (ATA-3) drive..

I checked in Ricardo but no one seems to be selling an ATA-3 drive right now (not a surprise to me... )

I was wondering if there are any shops that sell second hand computer parts in the Baden / Zurich area so that i can potter about and try to find such a drive..

I am new to CH so would love to have pointers to such shops..

P.S : If you have an older ATA-3 drive that you need to get rid off, please send me a PM!

Cheers

I think you will have to find an old functioning computer, and take the disk. Otherwise how can you be sure the next disk is OK?
The old disks were extremely unreliable, their life span was often only 2 years.

I live near this place, and while I've never been inside, they have lots of random PC peripherals, mobiles, etc in the window. Might be something of interest to you...
