Re: Just a haircut please

Yup find a good local Italian, she charges 25 normally asks me for 20 I pay her 30, everyone is happy. There are always a few grannies hanging around as well to look after the kids - bonus. But I always take a foto of what I want, creativity is not so good but technically perfect every time.

There is a hairdresser down the road from me (Oerlikon, see the above link) who does mens cuts for 20CHF with no appointments. They're called Copa, or Costa, or something like that.

This question may be answered elsewhere but I can't use the search function on my I-phone!

I'm a guy that needs a haircut in Zurich, a CHEAP haircut!

Any recomomendations? I got a quote today for CHF69 which seems madness to me . My local barber in Dubin charged me EUR12.
I noticed the same outrages prices.

I had my hair cut in Basel when i arrived and looked like i enlisted for military duty, that for 40CHF, mad money ! i mean, people nearly saluted me when i walked by..

from 40 up to 200 Chf you can buy a set of good clippers and ask your partner to cut it.

Set it at clip 3 for the top, and 2.5 for back and sides, nice clean cut, and well worth the money.

Its easy todo, good clean result and after a few times, you earned your money back out of it.

Your hair is cut as often as you want, you don't pay mad money for it and get out of these compulsory talks with your barber.

The only thing you need is trust in who ever is doing it and 2 weeks holiday just encase it goes wrong

Re: Just a haircut please

I pay around 65 for my haircut. Bargain considering it's the only part of me that actually looks presentable.

Ha so if you trust a culchie pole to cut your hair, why not your partner with a pair of clippers?

I did have trouble trusting mine at first but know she has the hang of it, 3 on top, 2 on the side, nice and clean.

Saves me a bundle.. go one, be brave

Best Hairdresser in Zurich

Hi all,

I just got one of the best haircuts of my life at http://www.11-11.ch/ and I thought I'd share, in case anyone is thinking of getting their hair done.
I paid 120 CHF (plus I left them a nice tip because they were awesome).
I highly recommend them, I am so pleased!!!!

Note: if you are in a rush, the place might not be for you. I was there for 2 hours, which I thought was great because they took their time and asked me exactly what I wanted, checking with me at several points along the way to make sure they were going where I wanted them to go, but I realize it wouldn't have worked out if I was tight on time.

Federica

Best Hairdresser in Zurich

This is great to know. I'm actually flying back to London tomorrow to have my hair cut by my old hairdresser - it's a very expensive exercise!
