Zurich: cleaning service or cleaning mould/schimell from suitcases

I'm sure there is a place to put this thread, but I couldn't find it.

We have mold in our storage celler space and it has infested everything, very quickly, since the management did nothing when it was reported in another area back in June... grrr..

Anyway, I found lots about mold in buildings and how to abate that, but how about getting it out of your stuff? Other than sunshine, vinegar, air... I found one product that seems to be in short supply...for fabric.

But suitcases? There was something in various hardware stores for walls, plastic, cloth, I tried on suitcases - big mess.

Is there a place that will clean them?

thanks much.

Depends on the material of the suitcase, because most products contain Chlorine, so the colour of the suitcase can vanish as well, or the plastic can be attacked as well not the target "Schimmel"

The suitcases are all fabric like stuff which I suppose is permeated plastic - old hartman light ones, newish briggs and riley, a couple french ones that look like padded parachute fabric and claim to be the lightest - and sports bag type bags of no particular brand. Some of those I am sure I can wash in the machine.

At this point I'd rather give them to a professional, if such a place exits. I've been to many stores and bought every schimmel product I could find. I could not find large quantity clean plain white vinegar though.

We might have sun til tuesday but that won't be enough but the other tenants may not appreciate me monopolizing the roof....

The mold did not make stains but did dust the surface of the outside, and inside, contents (clothes) were affected. Even when only put in the storage cellar for a month....

I am using below product for walls, it really works good.

Potz Xpert
Multi javel cleaner

It is available in Migros.

I have had this as well and what could go in the machine, did, and the rest I did by hand with a scrub brush and regular washing liquid. Seems to have worked, but mine were all that nylon fabric (maybe it's called ripstop?)

I never thought of using a mold cleaner, for some reason!
