Organ donation question

I just came across the swisstransplant website and wanted to fill out the donor card, because I'd like to donate my body to science (after death, obviously). But I seem to run into a problem here.

Their website says:

Body donation

In addition to the option to donate organs, it is also possible to donate one's body to science after death for research use by a medical institute. If you select both options, organ donation will always have the higher priority.

"If you select both options" --> Yes want to do that, but where do I select them? On the donor card there's only an option for organ donation as far as I can tell, not body donation (link to donor card: http://www.swisstransplant.org/l1/or...ausfuellen.php )

Does anyone know how this works?

Re: Organ donation question

If you donate your body to science there isn't exactly the same need for hurry compared to donating organs. Thus there is no need to identify a body donor on the donor card.
They way I understand the - German and French only - FAQ on donating your body is that you need to liaise with the next institute of anatomy:

Basel: 061 / 267 39 21

Bern: 031 / 631 84 33

Freiburg: 026 / 300 85 40

Genf: 022 / 379 52 75

Lausanne : 021 / 692 52 50

Zürich: 044 / 635 53 11

Once the organs for donation are properly removed the rest of the body goes to science.

FTFY. Affects Swiss citizens as well.
