It depends on the weather, two years ago there was a very sunny Autumn and all the leaves went really beautifully golden and red. As for a location, all the forest areas around Zürich are nice, but you need to locate a deciduous forest, with less Pines.

There is a photography meetup group for english speakers:
http://www.meetup.com/viewfinder/
This Sunday they (possibly me too) are going to Uetliberg to take autumn pictures:

Feel free to sign up.

A cherry lined street is Zurlindenstrasse.
A chestnut lined street is Gfellstrasse

Zurich tree data base: https://www.stadt-zuerich.ch/ted/de/...mkataster.html

Either search for a specific species or use the interactive map.

@kona I could not be for the meetup group as I was in Milan last weekend. Did you guys happen to see the fall colors. Are there any weblinks which you could share via pm ?

Re: where can I take fall/Autumn color photographs ?

Fall happens mainly outdoors in Switzerland. How tricky can it be to find some woods or parks with trees?

If you are visually impaired, I apologize. But it's unlikely you'd be taking pictures if blind. Otherwise, sheesh .....

The Val d'Hérens, near Evolène/Arolla for the 'flaming' golden larches is great. One of our favourite valley for autumn colours is Faffleralp in the upper Valais.

Re: where can I take fall/Autumn color photographs ?

@Assassin: Chill dude, I am looking for bright colors and a long street of trees with all yellow/red colors ( not much green ) and to be honest I have not seen any like that in the outdoor places I have been so far. Maybe the weather is not perfect, maybe I have not been the right places, or maybe I am expecting too much as I have heard fall in US and Japan are much brighter and vivid than European countries... So I am checking.
