Computers [My PC died, where can I get another one?]

I need to buy a new P.C. as my last one bought in the UK is giving up on me, my question is does anyone know where I can buy one with an English keyboard in the Nyon area, sorry if it seems a stupid question but note the name!!

Re: Computers

Buy a Mac!!! It's better, quicker, more reliable. The new Macs allow you to run Windows on them if needed (though you'll have to buy a copy first). Also, from the Mac online shop you can choose a UK keyboard if you so desire. Oh, and Mac's look the biz!

Re: Computers

I agree with Steve. If you are not a talented home hacker, buy a Mac. You can order them with whichever keyboard and in whichever langauge you want.

Mac's a friendly computers and will save you from tearing whatever hair you have left on your head out.

If however you insist on flagellation, you may order PC from Dell with your custom requirements. You could also find a bargain at digitec, your English keyboard and operating system requirements will also be fulfilled there.

You can also contact this user who sells computers.

Re: Computers

Dell is good value for money. Beware though that not all models sold on-line are offered with English (International) keyboard.

MacBook Pro (Intel) is really cool, nice, functional, user-friendly, etc. but for comparable models with the Dells, IBMs, HP, etc. cost on average 1.5 times more.

HTH.

Re: Computers

All good advice above ... Once you find what you want ( whether a Mac or PC ) , you can look on www.toppreise.ch for a price . Alternatively , you could look at www.ricardo.ch or www.ebay.ch for auctions .

Good luck
