Cyber bullying

**IF YOU DO NOT AGREE WITH THE MESSAGE ON THIS PARTICULAR THREAD, PLEASE DO NOT COMMENT. THERE IS A PARTICULAR SECTION FOR YOU TO COMPLAIN ABOUT WHATEVER YOU WANT TO COMPLAIN ABOUT.**

In today's society with loads of social media outlets, it seems like the "in" thing to do is to be rude and nasty towards a person who doesn't share the same views or goes against the majority with their individual beliefs. Although people here on this particular forum don't stoop to calling others out of their names with nasty language, people are guilty for being plain rude to others on different posts - especially when it comes to finances. If one wants to do something here and is looking for advice, tips, etc., it's a trend of some sort to notify how "expensive" their particular want is and to "discourage" them - and yes, some do it in the nastiest way as possible which is totally unnecessary.

I understand that we come here to get advice, tips, directions, etc. for particular situations, but if you are a TRUE believer in Christ, social media should NOT be the first place to look.

**ONCE AGAIN, IF YOU DO NOT AGREE WITH THE WORDS ON THIS THREAD, PLEASE DO NOT VOICE YOUR COMPLAINT TO START AN E-FIGHT. SIMPLY EXIT AND ENJOY YOUR DAY**

If you are a true believer of Christ, meaning you've accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior and live for Him, then you should get your instructions from the Holy Spirit. There are times in which God will send you to social media for certain things, but we need to first and foremost consult Him to see what we have to do. Especially if your situation is peculiar, people will most def try to talk you into doing the opposite of what God tells you to do, ridicule you if you don't take heed to their advice, and outright laugh at you when you stand firm on the Word of God.

There are MANY "impossible" goals that I have achieved through my faith in Christ that had even "Christians" laugh and/or question me. But just remember this - "Faith doesn't make sense and sense doesn't make faith," which means that people who don't have faith in Jesus and who aren't submissive to Him will NEVER understand why you do/don't do things based on the instructions from the Holy Spirit. Even when your situation may seem dire and there is no where else to turn, keep holding on to Jesus because through God ALL things are possible (Matthew 19:26) and God ALWAYS have the final move.

God bless and big hugs!

Jesus walks into a hotel, at Easter, slams four nails on the counter and says:
- "Can you put me up for the night?"

Off topic but, you know he wants to play a villain in a next James bond? He thinks i
He will do a good bad guy with the wheels and the voice.

Now OP. If you don't want people to give their opinions on your thread, I'll suggest you start a blog because a forum without people's sharing opinions is like Jesus celebrating Ramadan..... It doesn't happen.

No, it means that people with sense don't put their "faith" in something else than their own hands.

Re: Cyber bullying

Have you ever felt like you were...alone? Even though you are surround by loved ones, but you feel completely isolated? It seems like everyone around you is happy and fulfilling their goals of getting a huge promotion, getting married, buying a gorgeous home, having babies - but you're just sitting there waiting for your life to start. God is so ready to show you His love, making you feel whole and complete, and giving you your purpose so that you can freely live happily in Him! There is no better feeling than to have the peace and joy of the Holy Spirit!

Re: Cyber bullying

It seems like the most popular thing to do nowadays is to mock and insult a person for their faith in Jesus - in hopes to bring shame to them and/or to "quiet" them. Well, I am rooted and grounded in Christ and don't plan on shutting up about Him anytime soon. I still love you all, but God loves you more! Big hug!!

I'm a Christian, but I find this thread embarrassing.

An awareness of the culture of the audience you're addressing goes a long way.

Thanks! God bless you too.

I don't see social media as a replacement for God's word, but there are lots of things I might want or need to know that God's word doesn't tell me about. "What date do I need to have my winter tires on by?" is one such question. I can wait for the Holy Spirit to reveal it to me, or I can ask my neighbor who owns a car and is likely to know the answer.

"Social media" is just another word for "people". If you think God directs you to seek human advice sometimes and avoid seeking it at other times, how do you believe we can discern which times are which? (Note that I said seek, not follow.)

So what if you have already all of that without God's intervention? I do feel alone when I am alone in the house with the kids at school and hubby at work. I ain't no time for sitting around. I have washing, cleaning, painting, drawing, cresting artistic things to do...

I just want a break, man... No more purpose and stuff to do and feel....

Ok, let's be serious for a moment.

I mean it.

How is this Jesus and God fit in the hole Big Bang theory? I ain't talking about the tv show but the real thing. How WE, simple humans get to have the preference of God over the WHOLE universe?

Serious question here.
