Where do young men buy their trousers?

Son is growing like a weed and needs yet more new trousers? Where do you buy them from here?

He is 15 years old, pretty tall and wants something trendy ( but not the hanging crotch, show your undies style) but not too expensive ( need renewing regularly as he grows).

Neuchâtel isn't great for shopping although we have the usual suspects like C&A, H&M and Zara but not large stores and the choice is quite limited.
Happy to travel a bit further afield ( or send him off in the train to do his shopping) but looking for ideas of where to go.

He needs 32" waist 34" inside leg and the longer leg length doesn't seem too common around these parts.

There's Manor, if it's not too far.

Manor is very near but we've already bought the only suitable pair they had there ( and returned two that were too short).
Will keep an eye out there as they often get 'new' stuff (tat) during the sales.

Re: Where do young men buy their trousers?

How about online? I buy jeans on Zalando and also have a 34" leg (though I can no longer claim a 32" waist...).

PKZ in Neuchâtel used to do long legs, but is maybe not trendy enough for a teenager.

I thought the H&M in Maladiere centre had an excellent men jeans selection, at quite competitive prices.

I hate to go shopping so I buy things on Zalando.ch (free delivery and free shipping for returns, exchanges, etc) for kids, I like verbaudet. You can also look on LaRedoute.

Re: Where do young men buy their trousers?

Manor have that size and they're fairly cheap - especially their own brand 'Yes and No.' You can still get a pair in the sale for just over 30 CHF.

I go to Gap in the U.K. or U.S. normally and their 32" waist, 34" leg are consistent so mail order would also work (That's my jean size too - since I was about 15 too. )

My middle son broke our house record for wearing out jeans last week. From brand new to holes in the knees in three days.

Yes there is one and we haven't tried there. It used to be tucked away in a place we never yo go but it moved to a more central ( to me ) location recently.

They do have a good selection and the prices are fine but only if you're a standard Swiss 32" leg length.
The longer leg length are as rare as hen's teeth here.

I hate shopping too especially with a teenager in tow.

A few people have mentioned Zalando so I'll take a look there.
My neighbour seems to get stuff from there pretty regularly and then takes a load of it to the post office on Saturdays to be sent back.

Mmm don't think that fits the trendy criteria somehow.

As I said in an earlier post we got the only pair that fitted him in Manor here, it's a small branch so not much choice in the 'odd' sizes and I'm beginning to think that Neuchatel must be populated by dwarfs as the choice in longer length is woeful.
I will take a look at Gap. Mail order is definitely less painful than taking him shopping but I'd been a bit reluctant to try it in case the sizing was off and I had to return everything.
At least he's not wearing holes in them anymore.

Yep given the turnover rate at the moment I'm not too keen on spending a lot of money. I think we'll reserve the Pepe jeans for when he's buying his own.

The Outlet in Aubonne is worth a try too.

Re: Where do young men buy their trousers?

I was looking for boot cut jeans and they are difficult to find in store. They think everybody wants to wear skinny jeans. I ordered few pairs on zalando and kept the one I like and sent the others back.

La Redoute has nice boot cut jeans for women, at correct prices.

@BM: funnily enough, a few weeks ago we were looking for jeans for my hubby who's at the other end of the scale than your son (28''/30''), H&M was full of 34" jeans!
