Hornbach / B&H / Jumbo alternative?

Are there any amateur-friendly alternatives to Hornbach / Bau&Hobby / Jumbo near the Zurich Obersee area, for DIY, garden construction etc?

Between them they cover just about everything but I always wonder if there's others I haven't tried.

I've also tried Landi which seems to be a bit random on what they stock, Migros DoIt which is really more hobby than DIY, and of course garden centres which have great stuff but with outrageous prices.

Cool thanks, may be worth a visit if I'm going that way, same for the one at Mels/Sargans.

Shame they don't have their range online to plan beforehand though.

Make the trip to Bauhaus Schlieren. Everything else is just fluff.

For serious DIY in your area there is Arthur Weber - in both Lachen and Einsiedeln.

No garden center, this is a shop for serious man toys tools. The gentleman at the Filiale in Einsiedeln has been especially helpful. (For OH, a DIY amateur, a visit to Weber is like being a kid in a candy store...)

It's focus is professional supply, but there is likely plenty of interest to the keen amateur.
