Swiss maplins (electronic bits)

Does anyone know of a Swiss equivalent of maplins or clas Olson ?
That is a shop to buy little electrical bits. Wires for converting between audio formats and that sort of thing.
Anything known of in Vaud or online welcome!

Lowest prices Ive seen in Switzerland.

Just ordered lots of cables from them (only downside is the small qty surcharge).

Not quite the same sort of things stocks as Maplins though.

Does anyone remember the Maplins catalogues from the 80s with the spaceship artwork for the front covers?

Yes! Hours of fun for a teen-nerd, poring over 74-series pinouts and the transfer characteristics of exotic power transistors. With the Maplin catalogue in your hand, everything seemed possible.

Yes, but these were by no means comprehensive enough. The basic things like EL34 valves, Octal valve bases, 350-0-350 volt Transformers etc. etc. were all missing.

RS won't ship to non-business customers. You need a VAT number.

I note it asks for a firm name as a compulsory field on the checkout.
Are only companies allowed to buy here?

Oops, overlooked it.
Oh well.
I decided to follow the route of ebay cable dealers. Seems cheaper and less hastle.

Or see this thread: "Business Only" Sales? at post #13 to see what happens if you try, as a privat person, to order from RS.
