The doors should not scrape the ceiling.
Here's a pic of a common problem people run into with flat pack wardrobes and bookshelves. They know the height of the ceiling but don't allow for the diagonal to stand it up after assembly. That means disassembling and trying to reassemble upright, which is a lot more challenging with massivholz than with IKEA particleboard. | This user would like to thank 3Wishes for this useful post: | |

| | | | | We were regretting not ordering "assembly" for a more expensive wardrobe from home24. It had holes missing, part of the wardrobe missing (they did send the part later but arrived months later when it was too late to put it), etc. Took quite of time for a team of 3 to assemble.
It is a bit of console that maybe even if we did purchase "assembly" it would not have worked out... I have also been noticing around not so professionally done paid assembly of furnitures at friends homes, sometimes even in the stores... |

Have never bought from them but I know people who have without any issues.
When it comes to wardrobes the only product I can vouch for is Jutzler. It is sold under different names in many stores and is super easy to build.
As far as I know they don't have solid wood in the series.
I have seen a lot of wardrobe fails in my time. Best option to repair if the store or manufacturer won't help is to get a carpenter to take a look at it.
Bottom line is when you order assembly keep an eye on the workers. They tend not to want to read the instructions. Before they leave check that everything works.

| | Re: Anybody bought furniture from home24.ch | Quote: | | | | | We have ordered a wardrobe (Kleiderschrank) from Home24.de. To be on the safe side, we decided to pay the hefty fees to let the professionals of Home24.de deliver and assemble the wardrobe for us (Order number 1007923223).
On the 22.09.2020, two "professionals of home24.de" delivered the wardrobe and took SIX hours to mount it. After six hours of hesitation, doubting, trying, and assembling, then demounting, and trying again, they finally said the wardrobe is ready and left.

We paid 1088 euros for this wardrobe and its delivery and assembly. And the result is nothing short of SHAMEFUL.
Despite many emails and phone calls to the very lame and unprofessional home24.de, we got nowhere. Home24.de, very unprofessionally, refused to take back the wardrobe, refused to refund us, and refused to fix it!
And there we are. We have paid a thousand euros for a wardrobe that we can't use, we can't close the doors, and its back is detached and whatever we put in it is not protected from dust!
What a shame home24.de. The lamest customer-service I have known in my whole life. Stay away from this dishonest seller. | | | | | How did you pay?
If credit card, make a claim that way - goods not fit for purpose etc.

I was just about to buy something from them, but after reading the comments here, I think I’ll skip. It seems they have a real problem with customer service! Shame - it looks like they do have some nice stuff! But I think I’ll pay a bit more instead of wasting time and energy waiting for Godot!

Our experience was very bad..we were not happy with the quality but we said ok since we were expecting that kind of a quality for the price. The worst part was that the guys who assembled the wardrobe (production line of the home24) didn't assemble it the right way and we didn't notice (it was the top piece) so after a while a piece of wood broke. The delivery time since the date of the order took around 3 months. When we asked for a replacement piece they said they did not produce any. After talking numerous times with the customer service, who were friendly enough, we asked for a refund, which we got. All in all, I wouldn't recommend buying from there because the whole hassle doesn't make up for the time wasted on arranging everything. After this experience we decided not to ever buy anything else from them.
P.S.: We bought one more wardrobe before getting the other one, which came fast but on some white pieces there were black lines, as if they were marked. We could not clean them, so asked for a refund, which we also got.

My experience: ordered a sofa last week. It was delivered this week straight into my living room. No complaints.

We again bought some furniture from them. Again without any problems.
Some tips that I think would be helpful:
1) their website says whether or not the item is in stock and ready to be delivered. We always just buy things in stock and it's usually delivered within a week.
2) Do read the reviews. We have steered clear of anything that did not have a lot of positive reviews. Also, actually reading the reviews can be very helpful.
3) One thing that I noticed is that they give you the option to buy assembly service even for items that are pre-assembled. I am not sure if they would still charge for it, but we always steered clear of that potential minefied. Again based on the reviews.
4) If you do pick assembly, then don't be shy to really make sure everything is correct before the guy leaves. In fact, he will ask you to do that before signing off.
5) They usually have a decent Thanksgiving sale. So might as well wait for it.

I really loved the look of an armchair on Home24 but with all these comments have been reluctant to purchase. My husband then reminded me that we bought two swivel office chairs from then in 2018. I love these chairs, delivery was quick, all parts were present (we assembled ourselves) and they are good looking and great quality for the price - much better than the ones we got from Tiptop a few years before for a much higher pricetag. 2 years in and despite home-office all-day daily use by my husband, still in great condition.
So, will definitely take the risk again and give it a go with the armchair.
Not at all doubting the negative experiences but maybe for smaller, less-complex-to-assemble items, worth the risk as they do have nicer stuff than many of the awful Swiss furniture shops (esp. now that Micasa bought and shut down the only decent one - Interio).

I've bought a large not-cheap mattress from them in June or July 2020, and had no problems. The item was in stock, delivery date was agreed with no problems (within less days than promised on website), and delivery was no problem. I didn't need assembly (obviously), and the mattress has been great. No regrets.
Good luck to any future buyers. I hope you don't experience any need to contact customer service after your purchases!

We ordered two kids beds from home24 about 6 to 7 years ago and had no problems.
They have a storefront in Zürich - perhaps you can talk the employees there and see what they say?
