Re: Hairdresser in Lucerne

The Aveda salon (Marc & Arnold) in Bahnhofstrasse is pretty good, but quite expensive relatively speaking.

Re: Hairdresser in Lucerne

I went to Marc & Arnold today in Lucerne on the recommendation here and I am really happy. I have had a previous not so great and equally expensive experience in Zug and now I have found somewhere up to the same standard as my Oz hairdresser!

OK, judging by the names, all the others in this discussion are women! I am a bloke (last time I checked) & I need a cheap hairdresser - preferably a barber - in Luzern. Prices here are mad!

Indeed I too found the prices crazy.

I tried out a few places (a few years back now) and all were 50,- for a simple trim! Before moving here I was annoyed with my barber when he put his prices up to 8,-!

In the end I bought a set of clippers and started cutting my own hair - grade 1 all over, job done!

Re: Hairdresser in Lucerne

I don't know if I could take that sort of gamble. I'm not very artistic. A friend of mind used to wrap a belt around his head & trim above it. He once looked like an escaped psychiatric patient....

Re: Hairdresser in Lucerne

I've been to Trend Coiffure on Hertensteinstrasse, saw a few men coming in for hair cuts. Their prices are very reasonable and they speak english.
