Jura Coffee Machine Repair

The grinder on my Jura coffee machine seems to be laboring lately. I have taken it to Fust and they have quoted me chf 98 for the estimate and a minimum of chf 300 for repair.

Can anyone recommend a private, or family operation, that specializes in coffee machine repairs.

Thank you in advance.

Re: Jura Coffee Machine Repair

Hi Styx

We had a Jura machine, which had a problem, they are a pain to take apart. I managed to find a picture service guide ( in english ) written by a guy in Germany.
I thought I had deleted the file, when we got rid of the machine after a big break, but it was sitting in my recycle bin !!
Send me a PM with e.mail and I will forward it ti you.

Enjoy the coffee !!

Fust will try and repair anything, and are unlikely to be quoting you outrageous prices.
In my opinion the high cost is because Jura are charging too much for the spare parts.

Mr Google found this approved repair company http://www.esperanza.ch/support/

There is also a place on the right just as you come into Dubendorf on the Geeren road.

Can't confirm work quality

Re: Jura Coffee Machine Repair

Send it across the border to Germany. Plenty of repair shops there that are much less expensive than their Swiss equivalents:

Re: Jura Coffee Machine Repair

I once visited the Jura factory and they have a "bring in repair" service... no idea about the prices, but I'd expect Fust and others to have a mark-up as well as need longer than the rather specialized guys at Jura?

The factory is right next to the highway, so if you ever are in the area might this be an option?

Re: Jura Coffee Machine Repair

when I bought mine on Ricardo, it came with a copy of a service bill of 325 CHF. I would never spend that on a coffee machine...
