The best way, recommended to me by a fitter (granite, not epileptic) is soapy warm water. (Fairy liquid)
Wipe down the surfaces (including the stove) with the soapy water and then dry with a tea towel. It works brilliantly.
We used to use glass cleaner, but it didn't work as well and apparantly damages the surface.

This is what I've done with mine for about fifteen years but I was scared stiff that if I said so, there might an outcry of "how unhygienic, how minimalistic, haven't you oldies ever heard of bacteria...?" Didn't want to start my new year with a guilty conscience.

Well the Granite has stains from calk. I used a granite polish but its alot of work. I use sometimes dish washing liquid but not sure if it damages the granite

In one of our places in London, we had a company come in and re-finish the surfaces of the worktops. I guess after a while this is probably needed and then you can start anew.

I also bought a special cleaner for granite. You cannot remove the calc build up with soap and the usual cleaners for calc (like Durgol) are NOT safe to use on stone.

Cleaning Formula for Kitchen Granite
 

Hi,

There are hard water stains near the sink of our kitchen on the granite floor. I'm looking for a suitable and strong cleaning formula/liquid to remove them. If found this on Amazon but somehow it didn't work :/ (Maybe I didn't use it correctly): https://www.amazon.de/dp/B008VBC0YO

+1 on the vinegar, leave it there for a bit to solubilize the calc if it doesn't work immediately. You can dilute it and it should still work, only takes longer to react but you waste less, since it's the sink you can make a nice bath of vinegar and throw in the shower head or other stuff as well.

Vinegar is acid & could dull your granite after a while.

Believe it or not, if you have patience and a steady hand, a single edge razor blade will gently scrape away the calc. It's a surface thing for the most part, not embedded in the granite. Check out videos on YT. I've read you can try the finest grit sandpaper too, probably similar to the putzstein shown above. I've only done the blade and diluted durgol that was wiped on and off quickly and not allowed to sit.
