Didn't Settle an Import Charge / Tax Bill

About six months ago I ordered something from Germany. The cost was around CHF60. When it was delivered, the delivery person knocked on the door and said that I owed CHF5 in import charge / tax (can't remember the specific words) before they could release the parcel.

I said I didn't have the cash on me and they said that I could have the parcel now and would call back the following day for it. I said OK and that if I went out I would leave it in the 'milk delivery' thing under the letter box.

I left the money where we agreed. Nobody came back. The money wasn't taken. I never received any paperwork or an invoice.

It has just come back into my mind. Do I need to pro-actively do anything? The last thing I want is to be hit with a fine over a tiny fee. Has this fallen between the cracks or is somebody, somewhere expecting me to go and settle a bill?

Any advice appreciated!

5 sfr import duty seems not legitimate for me, because the handling fee from the import department of the dhl/post will cost 18 sfr plus GST/Duty.
If you don't received any documents/paperwork, you should be fine.

The "around" part is important.

Goods over CHF62 have customs charges attached (8% or 2.5% depending on the goods).

If the amount due is under CHF5, it is not charged according to the website.

You will probably just get a standard penalty of CHF7500 +/- 30 days in jail.
