Ebay shows an average price of 1% of what you're looking to get: http://www.ebay.com/bhp/cartier-pen

How much would a letter written by such miracle cost?

I couldn't care less and I don't see why people who have nothing to contribute should comment on it. There are some wealthy people on this forum and especially in Switzerland. Just like watches and other "branded" daily items, there's a market for it. I own a rather expensive pen as well, but I received it as a gift from a company I worked for. Surely, it is nowhere near the ballpark figure of OP's writing tool but nevertheless, it feels and writes different than your generic Bic pen. So I don't see why someone cannot feel passionate about pens.

I once saw a $100k pen for sale in a retail shop. This extra special limited edition pen had been injection molded out of the finest polymers and petrochemicals, with a diamond embedded in the pen itself. No, you couldn't see it. But they swore that there was a diamond embedded in the plastic.
Do your pens have diamonds, OP?

As I guess I'm one of those who got "nothing to contribute" I will do as I'm told and shut up. | This user would like to thank curley for this useful post: | |

For instance, I don't collect watches, but I happen to feel passionate about them. Hence, not too long ago, I got my hands on some rather dated watches and I'm inclined to selling them, as I have no use for 19th century pocket watches. I may keep 1 or 2 because of their intricate complications but I don't see a purpose for the remaining watches.

I'm planning to sell my pen made from mithril and unicorn hair. Anyone know a good place to sell them? it is very valuable as I got it as a gift from an elf.

Dear All !
I believe I owe you an apology.
I do understand now that this was not a proper place to ask such question, I was too naive.
