Caught Trespassing

Me and my girlfriend went to a rooftop today and when we came down there were cops waiting for us yay. They told us as we are minors theyll call us and inform if the owner of the construction site wants to take us to court and we'll have to pay a fine. Does anyone have any clue how much the fine would be? The rooftop was in a construction site in Enge. Thanks lol.

No idea. Someone who may know may be along in a bit. Once they're finished giggling. Or something.

Don't trespass. Particularly don't trespass on building sites. And while we're at it, don't walk along train lines or climb electricity pylons to retrieve your Frisbee. Don't smoke and always wear a condom. In fact, if I were you, I'd wear two.

Here endeth the Public Service announcement.

Have a good one.

Re: Caught Trespassing

Tresspassing is covered in Art. 186 Swiss Criminal Code
https://www.admin.ch/opc/en/classifi...ndex.html#a186

Up to three years of jail or a monetary penalty which depend on the income is possible for adults.

As you are minors your case will be decided based on the youth criminal law https://www.admin.ch/opc/de/classifi...353/index.html and the youth criminal procedure code https://www.admin.ch/opc/de/classifi...702/index.html

Possible penalties are: Reprimand, social work, fine up to CHF 2000, and jail time.

Jail is very, very unlikely. Expect a fine of up to some 100 Francs (will depend on your age, possible income and allowance) or some days of social work. The case can be handled by the prosecutor alone. He may invite you for a statement or just sent you a letter with his verdict. Your parents will also be informed.

Your parents will also be informed.
Best that each of you informs his/her parents soon, directly and honestly, before the paperwork from the police or prosecutor arrives.

Re: Caught Trespassing

It's an insurance thing. Building sights are usually dangerous places that can't be locked. That's why they are covered in "no tresspassing" signs.
Owner does not want to face problems/costs if you injure yourself so they will probably be very strict in case of disregard.

No idea what it will cost as I never got cought (I know these places are tempting )

Prosecutor? Or if it actually is persecutor, I'd be very afraid.

Also - if you mouth off and show attitude to adults, you're likely to get smacked down hard. You might be a hard man at school, but out in the real world you're a dumb kid and will be treated as such.

Good. Now you're beginning to understand actions have consequences and that the rules do apply to you.

To the OP, the above is the best advice in this thread. Parents don't like surprises.

Oh come on, cut him some slack. Like we've not all been there before doing a little hanky-panky in the bushes. The fact that he was there with his girlfriend proves that he's a decent kid. And no, using 2 condoms increases the risk of a malfunction. Have you heard of the birds and the bees?
