A warning regarding data protection in Switzerland

I don't know who provided this video, but a lot of the information in it is not complete.
1) A number of cantons will not allow reverse car registration searches without due cause.
2) I don't believe any cantons will provide information on income. Some do provide information on the tax paid by individuals and corporate entities to third parties, but by no means all and in many cases you will need to justify the request.

You can pause the video and read the official paperwork shown. It makes it clear that without a data lock request anyone can get your address and income information. With the exception of 2 or so kantons out of 26 kantons.
