Ex-Girlfriend Problem

Hello all,

I know the title is a bit weird but let me explain.

I had a girlfriend who is still working for Salt. I opened a topic regarding Salt discount.

https://www.englishforum.ch/daily-li...-new-post.html

Well I am thinking to pass to Salt. My ex-gf does not know my current address but if i use salt then probably she will be able to see details about me, right?

We did not separate good and there was some complicated things thats why I do not she to know my address. But let the she would learn it, can she use this information, i mean can give someone else my address? If yes (because otherwise there is no possible to know 3rd person), can I sue her? Because I will not that surely she shared my address with someone (who I know already).

Shortly, I do not think that she will share my address with someone but I want to be sure about it. I do not want to include my current girlfriend in this topic. I could open a salt account on her name but I do not want it.

What should I do? Should I take this risk?

By the meantime, We broke up 2 years ago but I still not feel so comfortable

If you don't feel comfortable, just don't do it.

Can she see your data: Sure if her position allows such.
Can she ask someone else in the company: Likely.
Can she disabuse such data: Sure if she wants to.
Can you sue her: Depends on what she does and what can be proven.

Wow, you must really have screwed her over if you think she will still want to get revenge after 2 years!

PS: Yes of course it is illegal for her to share your personal details. Using the Salt systems a manager 'should' be able to see who has accessed your personal details using an audit log. If anything happened, that would be the way you escalate and investigate.

Switzerland keeps meticulous records, it is not exactly rocket science to find someone's address if you really need to.....

The only way she would know you are on the system, would be if she was looking out for you and if she is doing that, then she'd probably have managed to find you by other means after two years...

Use a different mobile provider. It's cheaper than having to move house.

Also, it's hard to sue somebody when you are dead.
