Where can I find a large selection of houseplants?

Hello all,

Would like to buy some nice houseplants - I've been to OBI and IKEA, but the selection is quite limited.

Are you aware of any garden centers that have a larger selection of indoor plants so I can create the desired jungle?

Thanks!

Sometimes you also see stalls at farmer's markets, and there are even dedicated plant shops. Because these are sold by people who (hopefully) know what they're doing such plants are generally in better condition that the stuff from IKEA, OBI, Migros etc, meaning they might actually last a decent stretch of time.

Most of my houseplants were by the way either presents or I grew them from cuttings from the plants of friends. I have also reciprocated and shared my cuttings with many others.

Jumbo also have plants, though you might need to find one large enough to carry them.

Hornbach is good as well.

And depending on the plants, Aldi and Lidl can be good options as well but the plants are in/out in the same week. And at the Aldi stores around here they don't bother to water them so get there early. Details of what they have are in the weekly flyers.
