What Juicer ist good for me?

Hi

Do you have any experience with the Panasonic Slow Juicer MJ-L500, the Mio Star Slow Juicer 150 or the Philips Slow Juicer HR1945/80?

http://www.panasonic.com/uk/consumer...s/mj-l500.html

https://www.melectronics.ch/de/p/717...-150-entsafter

https://www.melectronics.ch/de/p/717...SABEgLSg_D_BwE

I read a lot of review about this juicers but I'm still quite confused...
I just need a juicer for fruits and vegetables like celery, ginger, beet, spinach, etc..

An finally a last questions, are the Panasonic Slow Juicer MJ-L500 and the Mio Star Slow Juicer 150 the same product?

Thanks a lot!
A.D.

Are those juicers centrifugal juicers? Have you also considered cold press juicers? They might be a bit more expensive but the quality of the juice is much higher.
Here is a website which explains the difference... (I didn't read all of it myself thought): https://www.goodnature.com/blog/cold...al-comparison/

Most likely they're exactly the same.

I'm sure you'll appreciate that Migros does not have an electronics manufacturing division. They just buy other companies products and re-badge them.

Most companies do them including many Swiss ones. Solis for example, mainly seem to sell re-badged products from other manufacturers. Sometimes one seller has sole selling rights in a country so they can claim exclusivity and charge more too.

Re: What Juicer ist good for me?

Received a Novis juicer for my birthday nearly 2 years ago eventhough I mainly use it for citrus juicing - nice combination of pressed & centrifugal

Been very happy with it, use it twice a week

Those juicers are cold press juicers. The problem is, that I don't know wich I have to buy. In MElectronics, Intediscount or Fust...they unfortunately have no Idea about the quality of the juice. They only say, that until now, they did not have any reclamation about the item.

I have the Novis Vita, I wasn't even aware they had other models

Relatively easy to clean and quiet compared to most. Haven't even tried using it for smoothies but truth is the wife has a Thermomix which we find is great for smoothies

Re: What Juicer ist good for me?

For citrus the Hamilton beach manual juicer is the king. I have 3 in different places and use it almost daily. For veg I use a big breville centrifugal which has also lasted years, is quick to clean and gets a lot of liquid out of anything.

We have an Omega Juicer

Easy to use, easy to clean, will squeeze the moisture out of a stone.

I wouldn’t overthink it. It can’t be that hard to find a cheapish machine that will get the juice out of fruit. You’ll probably get bored with it after a week in any case. You’ll discover it at the back of a cupboard in a few years' time. BTW, any decent food processor will juice fruit and veg perfectly well.

I disagree with this. Juicers end up at the back of cupboards because in the past they tended to be a pain to clean. These days juicers are easy and effective. It's not just about juicing, or blending fruit. I juice ginger, turmeric, beetroots and many other plants or roots that would never juice in a blender. Also, to just get the juice and have the pulp separated are functions of a juicer that differentiate it from a blender or food processor.
