I have been recently smitten by Snow Patrol and quite like many of their songs specially Chasing Cars, Run etc.

I got the latest Uncut magazine yesterday and it has musicians picking their favourites for the year - Dave Grohl picked Celtic Frost, a Zurich band, of note.

Dave has been in awe of them since the Hellhamer days, so no surprise there. Surprising the resurgance of Frost these days. I've interviewed them in both the 80s and a couple of years ago, their attitude (and music) has definitely matured with age and I think that's what has helped them come back as well as they have.

'Uncut' is my oasis of sanity in a mad, mad world. Although most reviews get 4/5 and Dylan's on every third cover, it's a great mag

His other two choices were the Raconteurs and Scissor Sisters, whom I love and loathe respectively. I think he was trying to show the breadth of his musical tastes

Never fear Bobby's not on the front again (that was the December issue), they've moved on and given the cover to some young up&comers ......the Beatles.

My latest purchase (which has seriously got me burning up the treadmill!!!) is
Jamiroquai's High Times (Singles 1992-2006). I think Jay has a crush on me.
