I have a question about the Steuererklärung
Are Bond fund taxable? Should I put them in my Tax declaration?

Re: Are Bond fund taxable?

Do you mean bond funds in switzerland or abroad? I don't think you should also declar the bond funds you have abroad!

Re: Are Bond fund taxable?

If you have more details then why not say that in advance, and if you think you know the answer then why ask?

But the answer is still yes - all assets regardless of location must be declared on your tax return (with the small exception of assets in an approved pension fund).

Bond funds TAXABLE
CH or Abroad TAXABLE
They have to be included in your wealth tax number.

(exceptions are what @Newtowitz said earlier)

On top, the bond fund income is taxable one for one as income. And if the bond fund does not pay income but keeps accumulating, there is a portion that is imputed by the tax authorities as income. If they cannot determine it simply, they revert to an imputed income of ca. 5% on which you have to pay income tax.
