Where to find kids craft supplies

Can anyone recommend a store online or not that stocks kids craft supplies?
I've seen some good suggestions for general craft supplies but i'm looking more for things like googly eyes, pipe cleaners, glitter, sequins, pom poms coloured feathers etc.
I know i can find bits and pieces from different sites like amazon and aliexpress but if there is something a little closer to home or with better shipping costs/times that would be great
I thought I'd try maybe Jumbo or Manor this afternoon but I'm not sure how i'll go with googly eyes and sequins.

There are a couple of online places that have a Swiss presence:
https://www.vbs-hobby.ch/
https://basteln-ch.buttinette.com/shop/start
https://www.leibundgutag.ch/

Larger Jumbo, Manor, Coop etc have stuff, but it's usually a minimal selection, and pricey to boot.

Papeterien sometimes have stuff, but it's hit and miss.

Stop by the school and ask the Handski teacher - they'll know of more local places.

Leibundgut are a famous Zurich city centre craft store.

Glitter is dreadful for the environment.

Re: Where to find kids craft supplies

My wife does crafty workshops for kids, she buys a ton of stuff.. She's never really found a one stop shop here.

If you wait 2-3 weeks then wish.com is your friend.

hach.ch has a fair bit too

You've never tried to explain that to a 5 year old, have you?

She'll turn 20 this fall. I've moved 4 times in the meantime and I still keep finding the stuff in drawers, cupboards, books.

She wants to do fine art & art history. I've been hanging on to all the stuff she made in the hopes that one day I can say "This is an early piece, from her glitter period."

(but I'll settle for being able to say "Your mommy made that. You'd like to make one yourself? Well... we'll need to go and buy some glitter.")

I love those moments sitting in a management meeting and somebody tells me across the table that i have glitter on my face.

It get's everywhere!! not just from tubs of glitter but toys, cards, bath bloody bombs..

I get simple craft supplies from Tiger. They opened a store in LS, might be in your area, too. I get my Tiger stuff from GE or CZ, dirt cheap. And fun. Cheaper than Ikea. It is wittier, too. HEMA in Germany is good as well and Idee.

For real art supplies for doing decent stuff - reg art stores and paper stores. Or when travelling, usually. We have a local store for wall painting here, they also carry professional art supplies and sell half price once a year.

It was Pastorini in my days
(Go through the pages, the first is not very interesting).

And they moved to Dübendorf.

My favourite place was always http://www.zumstein.ch/
They have most things, including courses.

Have never compared prices though.

Zumstein prices are comparable with Germany for some things. Postage rates are really good too.

I just go to bau + hobby. One stop shop for me. It has everything you listed and you can look and touch everything, rather than search for things word by word on amazon or ali.
I love the fun browsing and getting nice new ideas while doing so.

Hate glitter too though...

Is there any Lüthy Papeterie within a reasonable radius of your home? I found everything I needed for my kids projects there.

I came across a Flying Tiger store the other week and thought it was great! Bought an umbrella and some pencils but no craft stuff.

Good to know! I was thinking of checking one out but I wasn't sure if all Bau + Hobbys were as good as each other or if i'd need to head into a Zurich branch.

Thanks again for all the good suggestions

The Coop brico loisir over here in the Suisse Romande have pipe cleaners, googly eyes, fabric paint, pom poms, etc. There's a whole section in the store. Don't know what that is where you are. Coop bau & hobby?
