Disposing of yard waste

It looks like I am responsible for the weeds growing in the flower bed next to my apartment. The building has gardeners that take care of the rest of the building, but not this little bed... go figure.

Our building does not have a compost bin and the bins at the dechette have little A4 sized plastic doors... not quite useful for garden waste. What is the best way to get rid of the trimmings and weeds??

Thanks!

Dan

Re: Disposing of yard waste

Could you ask your building management company if you can dispose of it when the gardeners come to do their bit of the garden maintenance?

Alternatively ask at your commune office when and how often the garden waste collection is and whether you need any special bin or stickers.

If there is an Allotment in the vicinity or from the village, people there would happily take it off your hands. They need it for their compost heap, particularly something easily compostable.
