Polish Pottery?

I have a visitor from the U.S. and she is interested in getting some Polish Pottery. Besides driving there over the weekend, does anyone here know if there are good, well priced shops that carry Polish pottery either in Switzerland or close to the border in Germany?

I looked online, but I think I would like to find a place where we can actually SEE the stuff.

Thanks in advance!!

Hi,

Have you tried online shops. It looks like they specialize in Polish pottery and they deliver it: http://www.polishpotteryhouse.com/ Good luck

Re: Polish Pottery?

Thanks! I will share this website with her- I guess she figured she is in Europe so she could buy this stuff here, and also see it instead or just buying through pictures.

Thanks!!

Re: Polish Pottery?

Hi. I am the distributor for Polish Pottery from the Ceramika Artystyczna factory and our showroom is located in Maisprach Switzerland (between Zürich and Basel). We currently have a selection of both large and small pieces including Soup tureens, baking dishes, covered pots, large bowls, mugs, etc.

At the end of this month we will receive a large shipment of pottery to add to our stock.

Please contact us if you would like more information.
You can also check the Events page on our web site to see if we will be in your area.

I encourage anyone interested in Polish Pottery to sign up for our newsletter though the link on our homepage. You will then be notified of upcoming events, Open House dates and order deadlines for placing special orders.

Kind Regards,
Karim Schlegel

Re: Polish Pottery?

off topic.
Sounds like Polish Pottery has as much to do with Poland as french fries with France.

Re: Polish Pottery

I can't wait to see your stuff! My friend is gone but I have my eye on a few things! It was about time someone started selling it here in CH. Some of my friends actually drove there to go buy pottery.....but it is too far for me...
Thanks!
