Tailor for Indian clothing?

Could anyone recommend a seamstress/tailor for Indian clothing? I am going to an Indian wedding and bought a Lehenga online and the blouse needs to be fitted...

Thanks in advance

depending in your time frame, i would recommend a quick visit to the uk. You may find better options there. Alternately try germany as that may have more options. I have not seen on in CH but maybe others can help.

Re: Tailor for Indian clothing?

Does it matter to a tailor whether a blouse is Indian?

The net is full of addresses.

Re: Tailor for Indian clothing?

good question. maybe Does matter. If you get a suit stitched from a US tailor, UK Tailor or Italian tailor, you will see the difference. The cuts matter. i see it for my suits. But maybe for women it is not an issue. I dont know.

Apparently Manjari Sarees, Überland Str. 299, 8051 Zürich have an in-house tailor stiching blouses. Never tried it myself. Maybe call them before you visit.

Blouses can be really difficult to make and many people simply stick to one tailor for their lives. Hopefully a lehenga top will be easier to fit.
