Importing older goods without receipt

Hi

Iím moving here for a job and have a tv I bought second hand over 6 months but donít have a receipt. Whatís the best way of doing that, bringing it in my car

When you move over, your personal belongings are taxfree, but it must be declared to the customs.

7.7% on actual value.

But if you have moving boxes with goods and a 2nd telly hardly anyone will care about your telly

They estimate it, probably on the high side.

Ok, I'll put it on the form.

Is a handwritten receipt for something bought second hand acceptable? There are some older hifi items i bought from gumtree and cant show anything.
