Data Protection / Spam Complaint

Couldn't see where else this topic might go, so...

So I asked an organization a few years ago to take me off their mailing lists and confirm by reply, which they did. Well, they confirmed, but as the spam persisted, it was clear they never bothered deleting anything. Subsequent attempts to get them to do this have been ignored.

So the question is there a mechanism to report this sort of thing, and if so where? Thanks in advance.

If his nationality is Irish and Italian as per profile: Yes. The only question is what jurisdiction they are in. The Swiss one would be this guy: https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eidgen...tsbeauftragter

The EU doesnt care. GDPR applies to all EU nationals no matter where they live. The question is wether you manage to enforce your rights...

Last time I did this sort of thing it turned out they had two data sets, one for the current campaign and one as a source to select from, so it's helpful to ask how many data sets they have on you. In addition to having flagged both I demanded that they never contact me again, ever, and I forbade them selling my data or otherwise giving them to any other organisation.

It may also help to have your data removed from tel.local.ch and tel.search.ch if you haven't already, or at least flag them as "keine Werbung".
