Broken Toe, what to do this weekend?

I broke my toe and I am suppose to stay pretty much off my feet.
The timing is terrible since the 3 day weekend is coming up and the weather has been nice - plus I love to be out in nature.

Any suggestions for things to do that do not involve being on my feet much.

Thanks.

Take a train ride? Good way to see scenery. Goldenpass rail link from Montreux to Interlaken (and on to Luzern) is good if you haven't done it.

Re: Broken Toe, what to do this weekend?

Sorry about your broken toe, do you like to sunbathe? Could you not have gotten some crutches from the hospital so you could get around better? If you lived closer to us you could of come over, and lay on our hammock we could of brought you beers, and bbq food and you could of just relaxed and then we could of entertained you.

Hope you are not in to much pain, and get better soon.

You need not necessarily miss out on the 3-day weekend and outside activities. Simply change your method of getting about:

I second the idea of taking a train, as long as you have someone with you to help you out and make sure you stay off of that toe. Just take any train heading into the mountains and it will be beautiful.

You can rent crutches from some/all pharmacies. I meant to post this yesterday when they were still open, but forgot my pw I hope it helps anyway.

Thanks for asking.

Went to the light show on lake geneva, just had to sit on a rock and watch. HIGHLY suggest that if you get a chance to see Gerry Hofstetters light show go, he shows in different places throughout the country. The pictures dont do it justice.

Going to see the movie blueshrimp suggested, its suppose to rain today.

Also some reading, and next weekend taking up the idea of a train ride.

Thanks everyone for your suggestions, hope you are having a lovely weekend.
