Walk, run, check out if there are any fitness trails nearby. Get a cheap bike and start biking?

Re: Recovering anorexic

There are gym-like sturdy structures built in some of the woods. They are free, open all the time, and there for the using. Each one has a diagramme of the exercises you can to there, and they are part of a route ("parcours") so you can go for a walk or run along the path, from one structure to the next.

They are sponsored by the insurance company called "Zurich", so don't mistakenly conclude that they are all in Zurich.

Have a look here for photos: http://www.zurichvitaparcours.ch/de/Info
and here to find one near you:

Join a sports club - badminton, orienteering, basketball etc.... in addition to helping you keep fit, it will also give you an opportunity to make friends and learn the language. i think that was one of your objectives as well.
