Hello
We wanted to apply for the Swiss passport for my 3 children. However, my German is not up to the business level needed for the forms. Does anyone know of an agent who can help with the process as the children are also struggling with the formal language.
Many thanks in advance. We are based in Zurich
"business level". Haha

Well I'm sure he has a handy that gets e mails
For whatever it's worth, the OP may have notifications disabled, like me. My phone is 100% mute. Never rings, never beeps, vibrates only when my wife or kids call, and there are no flashing lights for messages. ANY notification is within the app, so unless I open the app, I can't tell I have pending actions (be it messages, promotions, updates, etc). The same goes for all the websites I have accounts in: no e-mails at all. I personally prefer to choose when to know what, and not at the whim of each site's/app's marketing and developer's "customer journey".

I donít really think filling out a form for a passport or naturalisation request is a matter of life or death. Itís not an urgent matter so a couple if days here or there is not going to make any difference whatsoever.

You wrote him an email? That might have scared him off.

ROFL, that's exactly what my British friends used to ask me when these handy little things to make phonecalls with came on the market.
Next round was "that's actually a pretty neat name for a mobile" and now it's "the handy, as you call it".

I have notifications disabled. But if I request help, I will check back in for answers and thank those who were helpful. It's only polite, really.

My guess, he saw the answers, saw the squabbles and thought "stuff it".

My children are Swiss. I'm not.
I could fill out the forms now but a few years ago I couldn't. My children were Swiss then too.

Do people here lack reading comprehension skills?
I could fill out the forms then but not now!

Of course. In Tessin they follow their own rules

I still call it a "portable telephone "

A German language coach in Basel helps to prepare applicants for the Swiss citizenship process:

"Choosing to apply for Swiss citizenship is a significant milestone for families and individuals!
We prepare you for the relevant topics that are addressed during the interviews. Up to two participants per series of lessons."

If you need preparation for the interview, you're not ready for citizenship.
