| | Migros/ Cumulus coupons
Hi -
When I go to migros I see other shoppers use discount coupons from Migros (paper, not digital). 10 CHF off, 5 CHF off etc.
I have been shopping at Migros for more than a year now and signed up for a Cumulus account right at the beginning.
Could someone shed light on how one becomes eligible for such coupons?
TIA

They are received by post and are proportional to the amount you spend, and date limited.

Mine are digital, changed from paper coupons last year, it’s much easier as I used to always forget the coupons. Register on the app, scan your card via the app each time you shop and sometimes coupons appear automatically. But as above, all related to how much you spend

TIA | | | | | The 5, 10 franc coupons, plus vouchers for other offers/discounts normally arrive in a quarterly newsletter addressed to you personally. You might want to check that Migros has the correct postal address, it's just possible the postal service hasn't been able to deliver the letters for some reason.
Fyi; if someone has stolen the newsletters from your letterbox the extra vouchers are useless as the corresponding card needs to be produced when using them, although the 5, 10 franc coupons might be transferable.

As you have had the cumulus card for over a year they normally send you a coupon on your birthday for a free coffee - have you received that?

Lucky, really, as a free coffee would be wasted on me.
On a related point, the 5 or 10 franc coupons can be spent by anyone - we often send our kids to buy little things with them (along with a bit of change for the difference), like eggs or milk or Bundaberg ginger beer ...

On my to-do list for this week. | Quote: | | | | | The 5, 10 franc coupons, plus vouchers for other offers/discounts normally arrive in a quarterly newsletter addressed to you personally. Have not received such a quarterly newsletter so far. | Quote: | | | | | As you have had the cumulus card for over a year they normally send you a coupon on your birthday for a free coffee - have you received that? | | | | | Nope, no coffee coupon so far. Don't like coffee but still

I’ve been a customer for over 35 years and they have never offered me a free coffee!
But that’s OK their coffee is not the best. Hasn’t even been through a ferret

You get one cumulus point for every franc that you spend. Once you’ve spent 500chf you get a voucher for 5chf either by post or on the app (or both if you didn’t opt out if paper vouchers but you can only spend them once). Sometimes you get extra points if you buy certain products and if you spend over 100chf in one go you get a voucher for 2x cumulus points that you can use on a future shopping trip within a certain time frame.
The collection period is two months and they send out the vouchers at the end of the following month. If you don’t have enough points for a voucher they are carried forward to the next collection period.
The vouchers will be sent out at the end of April for points collected during February and March.
Coffee vouchers would be wasted on me too so I’m not bothered about them.

Ah, I might have just crossed this 500 CHF total spend this year, so maybe I'll find some of these vouchers in the mail soon!
