I think FB groups have taken over from fora like this one. I know there's an EF for Germany but there certainly isn't for NL - they have a Brits in NL and Expats in NL and Expat businesses in NL FB groups.

My impression is that it has fewer active members than EF and that it is harder to find an answer to your question by trying to search previous posts. I have found it useful, to a point.
Like EF it has some members who go out of their way to be helpful in a positive way and others who are somewhat more confrontational in their approach of giving advice.

+1 for this above mentioned forum, of which I am also a member...

Has its fair share of crazies, trolls and argumentative types - if you like EF you will soon feel right at home!
