Living in France, working in Switzerland

Hello!

I am looking for advice from anyone else that has experience with working in Switzerland (GVA area) and living across the border in France.

A few specific questions I have:

- How much is the Taxe díHabitation?
- Do you have health insurance in France or Switzerland? Can you be covered in one country if you are insured in another?

Any tips would be greatly appreciated!

Looking forward to hearing from you!

Miriam

Welcome to the Forum.

Some UN agencies and NGOs have international insurances that might apply no matter where you live. If you have insurance from your agency, check with the agency. If you don't have insurance from them, ask what they recommend.

Taxe díHabitation info can be found here (got it from Google, not promising accuracy):

Tax d'habitation varies, I pay 2800 euros on a 162m2 apartment & 564 euros on a 27m2 apartment, tax foncier is about the same
