Where to buy large canvas for painting in Zurich?

Hey gang!

I'm looking for large canvases for painting, at least 100x100 cm, in Zurich (I don't have a car so anywhere accessible by bus). I've been to Coop Bau+Hobby in Zurich but the largest they seem to have is 80x100 cm (https://www.bauundhobby.ch/bastelsho...ahmen/c/090504).

Any tips? Thank you!

Racher&Co in Niederdorf used to be the place ...... sorry, remenicing

Zumstein offers canvas by the meter, you could cut it to your size (or maybe they would even sell custom-sized, I didn't check that closely.)

https://www.zumstein.ch/shop/inhalt....uerich_rennweg

Or else, if you're lucky, you might find used canvases, to paint over, at
https://www.brockilandag.ch/laden/brocki-land-zurich (which is much more expansive, inside, than the picture on their website makes it seem).
Steinstrasse 68, 8003 Zürich
Closest busstop is Manesseplatz

Edit: Curley's fastrnme!

I was also going to suggest zumstein. I know they sell pre-stretched canvases in many different sizes, including very large ones. I think they also offer delivery through their website for relatively cheap.

The quality is much better than Coop screw-it all or Migros too.

Gerstaecker delivery was only 5 CHF when I last placed an order a couple of days ago.

This is perfect! Thank you so much everyone!

One more question, if I place an order with one of these for a number of e.g. 100x100 cm canvases – how is it delivered? I'm working weekdays so can't be home for DHL drop off. Does it end up somewhere (post or DHL office?) where I can pick it up? I live in Affoltern.

Do you ever see large packages waiting near the entrance to your building (assuming you live in an apartment)? Where I live, DHL will often leave a package near the door when the person isn't home. Or they will ring someone else in the building so they can leave it inside the door.

I think they also sometimes send you a text to inform you of what day and time period something is going to be delivered. I've left notes for DHL on the door before, that said "Please leave package by the door if I am not home" and included my name. The DHL guy told me that I have to sign the note with my signature. They then take a photo of it with their phone to have it on record.

Gerstaecker and I think Zumstein too (I'd need to check my old emails) deliver with Swiss post.

What you need to do is create a (free) Swiss post account and then a couple of days before the order, you will get an email where you can customize the delivery options.
For example, you can select the location, including:

At the building entrance (protected from the weather)
In the garden house
On the terrace
In the unlocked garage

You can also select delivery to neighbour and enter their name and address or you can simply get it delivered to another address.
It's a good reason to get friendly with your neighbours.

It's a really good service.
