Re: Looking for recommendation for renting Piano

I'd recommend having a well lit room in which to place it, some ceiling lights would help.

Not really, they've 10 posts all of which ask for advice with very few details and then they vanish. I'm more confused than anything. They've hit 10 now though so they should be able to post a piano sized object for sale in the market section in order to make room for their new rental.

You did not state where you look. Please change your location so we can help you better.
However, check Musik Hug. They rent pianos and they have several shops all over Switzerland.

Edit: I see, you live in Kanton Zurich. So yes, check Musik Hug. They have a shop in Zurich

Re: Looking for recommendation for renting Piano

Musik HUG in ZH are the best. Watch out - Monday is closed and they operate on reduced opening hours (Kurzarbeit).

I bought mine for a few hundred francs, it just costs more to maintain but we are happy with it. And piano tuners need work. Thankfully, we are a very music noise conducive building and play whatever instrument at any time

Maybe buying is cheaper than renting, you can still sell it if you move out of CH.

Yep. I rented one from Hug for a while - a long time ago - it was good, easy and not at all complicated when I decided to return it.
