Has anyone used highdefinition.ch

I'm after a specific piece of equipment for my computer, and it appears sold out everywhere but on highdefinition.ch.

This seems to be an aggregator or marketplace (as in, multiple sellers on one platform), and the one that has it in stock is "Distributor Schweiz" which is raising flags.

Has anyone used this site? Did you get your products? Did they actually come from Switzerland, or did you have to pay import fees?

Re: Has anyone used highdefinition.ch

Still owned by Frederic Steinfels (an offspring of the Steinfels Soap clan, Steinfels Areal). He started his business with code free mods for DVD players. He has a little brick and mortar shop in Uster. Real people, real shop, Swiss based.

Reviews on toppreise.ch are mostly very favorable https://www.toppreise.ch/shops/highdefinition-ch-s94

The sources listed by highdefinition.ch are, if I am not mistaken, all B2B sources. In this regard they are much more transparent then many other sellers. "Distributor Schweiz" usually means the official main importer of the brand.

I suggest to give them a phone call and check actual availability. The shops usually only pull the distributors stock information delivery times every so often.

Re: Has anyone used highdefinition.ch

I have a very nice Blueray player from highdefinition.ch, and while I've mostly moved on from disks, the player never gave me any trouble, and yes, worked with my entire collection. They even made it a point to send me firmware updates as new versions were released by the manufacturer.
