Anyone know the BP on the Soodstrasse Adliswil?

Last night wife and I were returning to Lugano from Zurich and decided to take the old road to Zug via Langnau am Albis, then join the highway.

Just after the BP there was a camera (one of those big temporary evil ones that look like it landed from outer space) and I was flashed at +- 52/53. My car showed the limit for that stretch was 60 and we did not see any sign saying the limit was 50.

We continued on to find the road blocked with roadworks so had to turn around. Again we saw no signs the road would be closed and nor did a motorist who was behind us as we both turned around and spoke briefly through the window - but that's a different matter.

Does anyone know that road and place and is the limit 50 or 60?

Thanks in advance for any input.

The Zurich part is 50 and the Adliswil part is 60.
BP is in Zurich and hence 50.

Edit. it used to be 60. This was changed some years ago. Your navigation software is not up to date.

Ah, that explains it. Many thanks. It's a brand new Alfa rented from Hertz, so i would have expected the navigation software to be up to date. If I get a fine, and hopefully not as I was only 2 or 3 kms above the limit, I will use that as an excuse not too pay Hertz's CHF 48 admin fee for passing on my details. I only hope the police don't pick up that i was not wearing a seat belt!!!!

Most modern machines only flash when you are above the limit after tolerance deduction. Regarding seat belt: You have to hope. They sometimes look for that as well. In the worst case it is CHF 148 down the drain. As a Zurich city resident I profoundly thank you for contributing to our city's finances with up to CHF 100.

Ha ha, my pleasure. But, as I've been hosted by the city several times with excellent lunch / dinner /receptions and as nothing in Switzerland is free, I guess it's payback time!
